The Journey of Glazing Vision
1994 - Glazing Vision is founded on November 4 by sole trader Hugh Callacher
1997 - We outgrew the original garage set up and moved to our first full scale commercial premises in Brandon, Suffolk
2002 - Glazing Vision launches the first ever rooflight for flat roof applications; The Fixed Flushglaze Rooflight.
2004 - We appointed our first distributor, D&R Daylight Services, allowing more people to access Glazing Vision rooflights.
2010 - Glazing Vision Europe is launched with an office opening in Paris, solidifying our international presence
2010 - After 13 years of trading, the Brandon premises is outgrown, so we relocate to a new 65,000 sq ft factory in Diss, Norfolk. Later this year, we achieved internationally recognized ISO 9001.
2011 - The range of Flushglaze Rooflights are approved by the BBA, meaning they are the first flat roof rooflight to be approved by the prestigious organisation.
2015 - We successfully passed our BSI ISO14001 environmental audit meaning that we are now certificated by BSI for both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
2015 - Later that year, the accreditations continue coming in; Glazing Vision earn approval by the Loss Prevention Certification Board and Secured by Design.
2017 - Our international presence expands, and a dedicated USA office is set up after experiencing extremely high demand for rooflights in America.
2020 - September marked a successful Management Buyout; Welcoming Jon Shooter as Group Managing Director after 16 dedicated years at the company.
